So, here we are. It's been quite a ride, and we're only halfway done. This is a major project, and pretty tough being my first independent work. Based on everyone's reactions, it is off to a good start, although there's still a ton of work to be done. The most positive feedback I received from my classmates was that the piece has a clean flow of action, and that the stylized noir elements are effective. As I continue with this piece, I will try to keep those qualities in place while developing what I have.
On the other hand, there are definitely areas to work on. Some felt that certain scenes were unnecessarily long, which made the overall storyline feel a bit awkward and flat. I will edit down those scenes to make the transitions tighter. Other useful commentary was about the font I used for the credit, which they felt didn't fit the overall mood of the piece. Fortunately, that's an easy fix.
